Top results in France mark the start of Diana Porsche's baby break
Diana Porsche rode to two top results at the international five-star tournament in Fontainebleau, scoring 72.830% in the Grand Prix Freestyle on her top horse Dahoud. It was the last show for the pair for the time being, as the 28-year-old from Salzburg is happily awaiting the birth of her first child!
For this special occasion, Diana Porsche chose the atmospheric CDI5* tournament in Fontainebleau, France. In the Grand Prix at the highest level, the rider from Salzburg managed a top round of 68.500% on her eleven-year-old Hanoverian gelding Dahoud (Desiderio x Weltmeyer) - seventh place in an Olympic starting field!
The duo also finished the Grand Prix Freestyle in the top ten and received an impressive overall score of 72.830 %. “The freestyle was something very special, as I knew it would be the last time for us for the time being. Philipp and I are expecting our little miracle in October and I am so excited to start this new chapter. Thank you Dahoud for looking after me and my little boy so well.”
Diana Porsche wants to continue to spend her baby break in the saddle, but without the energy-sapping competitions: “I hope that I feel comfortable in the saddle for as long as possible!” says Porsche.
