Diana Porsche: Top results at the CDI Stadl Paura
A weekend full of highlights for Diana Porsche! Two top placings with Dahoud in the four-star tour of Stadl-Paura and a magnificent debut victory with Kentucky in the national Grand Prix show that Team Porsche is in top form.
At the end of the indoor season, Diana Porsche competed at the CDI4* in Stadl-Paura (Upper Austria) from April 4 to 5, 2025. In the saddle on her eleven-year-old Hanoverian gelding Dahoud, the rider from Salzburg took an impressive second place in both the Grand Prix and the most difficult dressage test in the world, the Grand Prix Special.
The duo even cracked the 70% mark with 70.468% and were only beaten by the record Austrian national champion Victoria Max-Theurer: “I'm over the moon about the weekend! Dahoud was already really good in the Grand Prix, we managed a super canter tour with lots of highlights. In the future we want to add more expression to the passage, but I want us to be able to show everything in harmony and without pressure,” Diana Porsche proudly summed up. The next show for Diana Porsche and Dahoud is the five-star event in Fontainebleau (FRAU).
Milestone for Diana Porsche and young horse Kentucky
Porsche's young horse Kentucky provided a real milestone. The ten-year-old KWPN stallion Kentucky made his debut in the national short Grand Prix in the premier class and won it straight away with 71.279%. This was a very special moment for the 28-year-old from Salzburg, as the Desperado offspring is not always easy: “Kentucky came to me when he was six years old and could only trot around the outside. I taught him everything, from canter changes to the lessons in the Grand Prix. People kept asking me what I saw in him and whether he really had the quality for it. But I always believed in him and the fact that he is now, at the age of ten, ready for Grand Prix makes me incredibly proud!”
