Diana Porsche Celebrates a Double Victory
in Šamorín and Sets Her Sights on the World Championship
Dressage rider Diana Porsche made a strong impression at the CDI3 international dressage tournament in Šamorín (SVK): The 30-year-old from Salzburg won both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special with her top horse, Imhotep, securing two international victories in the process. These successes are an important step on the road to the upcoming World Championships in Aachen.
Despite the sweltering summer heat, the 13-year-old KWPN gelding confidently completed both classes at the Slovak Olympic sports complex on the Danube:
“I’m very happy that we were able to take home two victories despite the extreme heat. Pete and I handled the conditions well and were also able to showcase some really beautiful moments. Still, there’s a lot to learn—we made a few costly mistakes and need to gain more experience together. For me, every competition is a chance to get to know Pete better and continue to grow as a pair,” Diana Porsche summarized.
Before the season’s highlight, one more international test lies ahead: At the CDI in Görlitz (GER), the new mom will complete her final rehearsal for the World Championships before heading to Aachen. There, the Austrian duo hopes to confirm the form they displayed in Šamorín and gain further valuable experience at the highest international level.
