Diana Porsche shines
at the international four-star tournament in Stadl-Paura
Diana Porsche achieved several spectacular successes at the CDI4* in Stadl-Paura (Upper Austria)! Riding her top horse Dahoud, the young mother from Salzburg secured two podium finishes in the international four-star competition. Meanwhile, rising star Lord Franklin made a big impression with a debut victory.
Salzburg-based Grand Prix dressage rider Diana Porsche achieved top results against strong international competition at the CDI4* tournament in Stadl-Paura (Upper Austria). Riding her twelve-year-old partner Dahoud, Porsche secured an outstanding second place in the Grand Prix with a score of 69.631% and confirmed her form in the Grand Prix Special with 69.404% and another podium finish.
Notably, for Diana Porsche, this was her first international four-star-level tournament following her maternity leave in 2025—and at the same time a successful sporting comeback in the 2026 World Championship season: “For Dahoud and me, it was a very important step back to the top international level. I’m all the more delighted that we were able to compete at the front right from the start!” said Diana Porsche.
At the same time, the Flachgau native presented her ten-year-old young talent Lord Franklin for the first time in S-level classes with elements of the highest caliber. After a two-year break from competition, the pair—following a placement on day one—sensationally won the Intermediaire A class on the second day with a score of 71.754%!
“Lord Franklin is still a bit green in the advanced class, since we didn’t compete in any tournaments last year due to my pregnancy,” emphasizes Diana Porsche, “But he was already much more relaxed on the second day of the tournament. We were able to showcase some particularly beautiful highlights in the piaffe-passage sequence and during the pirouettes. I’m very proud of his development—he has everything it takes.”
Now it’s time to focus entirely on the two top horses, Dahoud and Imhotep, because Diana Porsche has a major goal for the 2026 season: the World Championships in Aachen. The next competition on the schedule is the CDI Mariakalnok in early May, held in Hungary, her new home for equestrian competitions.
