The Salzburg dressage rider Diana Porsche presented her Dutch gelding Imhotep at the international three-star dressage tournament in Motešice (SVK) at the weekend for the first time on the international stage and rode sensationally to two victories with over 72 per cent! It was also the young mother's first competition under the Hungarian flag.

The weekend marked a special milestone for Diana Porsche and her two top horses Imhotep and Dahoud: their first start for Hungary. It was also the first international appearance for the Salzburg-based rider and 13-year-old Imhotep.

In the CDI3* Grand Prix on Friday, "Pete", as Imhotep is known in the stable, impressed with his composure and concentration in the arena and secured victory with 71.326 % and a lead of just under two percentage points. In the most difficult dressage test in the world, the Grand Prix Special, the duo went one better and won with a strong 72.894 %.

Particularly pleasing for the rider: Imhotep now also feels visibly at home in international competitions. The gelding is relaxed and trusting both in the box and throughout the showgrounds - the best conditions for further performances together at the highest level.

"I'm over the moon about our debut - and the best thing is: there's still plenty of room for improvement. This horse is simply incredible! Pete has at least as much fun in the arena as I do, and with more competition routine he's getting better and better," enthused a very cold Diana Porsche after their successes.

At the same time, Porsche also presented her second top horse Dahoud in the World Cup qualifier. The duo scored 72.190% in the Grand Prix Freestyle to Music, placing fifth.
